Pricing is set by your dog, not by a list
Marie’s does not publish a flat price list. Prices are strictly based on the size, breed and temperament of your pet, as well as the haircut style you want. Ranges are available on request, and additional fees may apply.
That is how a groomer stays honest: a Yorkie in for a Spa Bath and a double-coated shedder in for the Works are not the same afternoon. Compare the packages on the grooming menu, then ask us for the range that fits your dog.
Four things move the price
Why two dogs on the same table cost differently
- Size
- A larger dog takes more water, more drying time and more hands on the table than a small one.
- Breed and coat
- A matted doodle takes far longer than a smooth-coated dog in for a bath. The coat decides the hours, not just the weight.
- Temperament
- A calm dog stays still for the clippers. A nervous or wriggly one needs breaks, patience and a slower pace, and safety and comfort come first.
- Haircut style
- A simple all-over trim and a sculpted, scissored face are different amounts of work. Tell us the look you want and we price that look.
Additional fees may apply
When the groom needs more than the package
Each package covers the standard work. These add time, tools or care on top, and they carry an additional fee:
- Special handling
- Extra brush-outs
- Extra de-shedding
- De-matting
- Matted pet shave-downs
- Flea and tick treatments
- Personalized or beyond-standard hairstyle requests
Handling fees
Pets that need extra time and attention because of behavior, such as aggression or excessive movement, carry a handling fee of minimum $25, decided case by case.
Marie’s has the right to refuse service on certain pets. Everyone on the table should be safe and comfortable, the dog and the groomer both.

How to get a range for your dog
- Send your dog’s breed and rough weight.
- Describe the coat: smooth, thick, curly, tangled or matted.
- Attach a photo, and say the haircut you have in mind.
